The London Tube icon isn't very exciting but they have the best tube maps (I grew up calling these things subways but I've gone a bit native) I've ever seen.

It doesn’t need to be exciting — it’s a classic. And yeah, the maps are pretty good, too. When I start to despair at all the 20th-century graphic design talent wasted in the service of people like Hitler, the London Underground helps put things in balance.
