Lawrence M. Schoen’s “The Sky’s The Limit,” from ASZAS, has made the preliminary Nebula ballot!

(First person to properly cast that in the Damon-Runyon-speak of Schoen’s narrator gets a prize . . . I’m not sure what prize, though.)

I am sitting here at my desk, perusing words on a screen, which is not something I ought to be doing as I am currently occupying the space in an office where they pay me to do things of a very different sort, when I learn that you alerting various and sundry individuals of unknown location that a peculiar story of which I have the distinct honor and pleasure of affixing my name is even now drawing inquiries for copies from prominent citizens of speculative and writerly natures, and earning at least a modicum of consideration for a snazzy award handed out by these same speculating palookas who distinguish their prize with astronomical nomenclature.
