Well, I figured I had to do something if I didn’t want to be inundated with cheap imitations of “Demon, Star, Alien, Cat.” |
Ah, and I see you also don't want self-parody. You're obviously going to be a hard market for me to crack. |
Yesterday my wife and I were watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Yes, I bought the DVD set. I am weak). When we came to the scene where the Joneses escape Germany on a Zeppelin airliner, I thought to myself, "Hmm, wonder how David's antho is coming along?" And now I know. |
That's a beautiful announcement/guidelines page you've put together. |
Thanks, Karen! I’ll pass the compliment along to Lara (the designer). Hopefully it’ll be reflected in the manuscripts we receive . . . |
However, your guidelines didn't give any restrictions regarding Dread Zeppelin. |
Curses! A loophole! Let’s just say a story would have to be pretty damned spectacular in order to get by with the only Zeppelins in it being Dread ones. |
'Dread zeppelin', the horrific ghost zeppelins filled with zombie crews ... |
Now, see, I was thinking more like happy-go-lucky small-time aerial ganja smugglers. |
Wouldn't that be the _dred_ zeppelin? :) |
Hey, if Dread Zeppelin themselves want to leave the ‘a’ in, I figure it’s no business of mine. |
Hey, you're paying grown-up money! Pity about the Led Zeppelin stipulation, though. :-)
