Yeah. I wish that I, too, had spent the last few years planning and saving for a move to LA. :) |
LOL. If if makes you feel any better, I think the Prizm's starter is a start or two away from crapping out. Always good to discover that on a Friday night. |
That blows, David. Not much worse than management choosing the deadline over the product. Or worse, answering "You can have it good or you can have it on time," with "I choose both." And my sympathies for your Prizm, Greg. Had to replace the starter in my car Monday. |
Yuck. That sucks, man ... i hope it goes well. |
I shouldn't speak, really... I used to be Product Management... Oh well, we all have our embarrassing moments. :-) Nice site, BTW. |

It's a good thing you like that, 'cause the whole software industry is all about that kind of excellent planning and high-quality products. Maybe software should be added to the list of things one should never see being made. (It's remarkable how many different versions of that sausage-and-law quote there are on the web.) |

I actually used the sausage analogy just last week — though it was our requirements planning “process” I was talking about — and most everybody in the room had apparently never heard it before. I need to find a job at a company that actually hires a humanities major more than once in a blue moon. |
Lord, what fun.
