It’s probably not news to anyone that the power is out across half the Northeast, and I’m sure we’ll get reports trickling in from the usual sources before too long. But, not surprisingly, I haven’t been able to get through to any of the folks I know back there by phone. So if anyone’s got any eyewitness reports, let me know.

We're okay over here in Bluffton, Ohio, all though Findlay went down for about 15 minutes while we were at the mall.

Glad to hear it. (That you’re okay, I mean, not that Findlay had a 15-minute power outage.)

I figured. I posted some stuff about it on the journal, as well as 2 of my fave slashdot posts about the blackout :-)

Cute. Especially the part about exporting earthquakes. I think the earthquake-exporting countries should form a cartel to control the world supply.

But of course you’d never get Turkey, Greece, and Armenia all in the same cartel, so I guess it wouldn’t work. :(
