Cryptogenomics in action

Okay, finding evidence that the Abominable Snowman is an ungulate of some kind, and Sasquatch extraordinarily closely related to four particular bison (but not as closely related to a fifth, let alone to other examples of family Bovidae) is not as cool as, say, finding evidence that either one, y’know, actually exists, but you have to admit these phylogentic trees are pretty damn neat, in a deadpan, almost Pythonesque sort of way.
